Endymion and Niixa by Jakkal

This is that character again, Endymion Gaelin, and Niixa'ntaena Iiroz (Yes, that's his girlfriend). If anyone is wondering what is so special about these two, those familiar with the badge on Endymion would immediately know.

Orderman Endymion Gaelin found himself on Kaerwyn almost a year ago. Since then, through trying times, he has fallen in love with .. someone not of his species.

Niixa'ntaena Iiroz is a Xarax-hil, a race of anthropomorphic raccoons (Kinda) created by Ringtail. Actually she's a halfbreed of crackoon (what we endearingly call the Xarax-hil) and a generic mashup of mostly raccoon and dog. (That's why she doesn't quite look raccoonish).

In any case, Endymion Gaelin is copyright© Jakkal, along with the Order. Niixa'ntaena Iiroz and Xarax-hil are copyright ©Ringtail.

Both characters are tortured heavily on The Realm of Kaerwyn's public RP http://www.kaerwyn.com

Quiet Contemplation by Jakkal

Since I took some time off, I decided to doodle a little painting. Took about 8 hours to do. Came out pretty good. Wouldn't call it a masterpiece, but it's pretty :]

This is Lorelei, the main character from my webcomic Black Tapestries

Medium: Photoshop
Tags: fox Lorelei Werefox Kaetif
The Princess of Makalu by Jakkal

She's the obligatory Snow Leopard Princess painting.

Named after one of the mountains in the Everest chain in the Himalayas.

Medium: Photoshop
Tags: snow leopard Uncia
Morning Trek by Jakkal

Ever notice how artists get all emo about their work and they think it sucks? And then they get all depressive and whiney and draw crappy sketches of how depressive and whiney they are?

When I get that feeling, I try to prove myself wrong.

I think I pwned myself.

Medium: Photoshop
Tags: wolf werewolf
Horseback Attack by Jakkal

This was a painting I did for the Black Tapestries 2005 Calendar. Originally, I wanted to have Lorelei charging through the woods on horseback. Time details turned it into more of a poster.

I like the way the BG turned out anyway.

Lorelei and Dakotah from Black Tapestries.

Medium: Photoshop
Tags: fox Horse black Lorelei Tapestries Werefox Kaetif Dakotah
Dawn's Early Light by Jakkal

Many of you will probably recognize the setup of this one, taken from a photograph from Monty Sloan (of Wolf Park).

This was a quick and painful painting I did for my husband's birthday, which was somehow completed in a week. He's the black wolf, I'm the brown one :)

Medium: Photoshop
Tags: wolves wolf
By the Seaside by Jakkal

This is my werefox character, Lorelei, from my Black Tapestries webcomic.

It should be noted that her world has a smaller second sun, and that is what's producing the light. It's not a moon, or the sun itself. Just the "Sunstar" as they call it.

She vents her frustration out on various non-existing deities.

Medium: Photoshop
Tags: fox black Lorelei Tapestries Werefox Kaetif
